I was in Singapore for a day trip together with my friend KK , this trip was on 17/11/2010 , its my first time I'm at Singapore actually looking at the township area .... actually it was not my first trip to Singapore , the first trip is with my wife where we travel to India by taking the Tiger Airways. I bought the ticket when they have a promotion where the ticket price is only 50 cents.... true 50 cents ..... as usual the airport tax and other charges comes around Rm 600 for both ... but yet still cheaper than Airasia for a return trip. The travel was on MRT from woodlands direct to Changi airport ... not many place we can go though ....

Ok ..back to my 'real' Singapore trip ... I went to the Rangoon Street , have a briyani and direct go to Orchard road ..... what a view ... its something that every one my experience ....

I use my HTC h/p to capture with panoramic view of the shopping complex ...... what a sight !

Its my second week trip to JO and I'm now again at Senai airport , waiting to return to my beautiful family. Tomorrow is Thaipusam at penang. Perhaps the best Thaipusam in Malaysia.

Plan to go tomorrow at 10..0 pm and will be there till noon. Why ? because there will be free "sore" for everyone ! :) .... me and my wife like to eat 1 panthal , where you can actually sit and have your lunch ... and its free ....

I'am at Johor airport now, waiting to return to Penang. The flight at 10.15 pm, hope the Airasia wont delay it ....

Miss so much my wife , daughter and son. Afterall its just a 1 week trip, yet miss them so much. I miss my daughter birthday this year, its her 7th birthday , 11-1-11 , what a special date ! what to do, have to answer my company call to improve the Johor plant cleaning yield.

Prady, sorry dear ......aiya do this for your future , have to earn a lot of money , for my beautiful princess to become a neorosurgeon.. ( its the spelling correct :) ! ) ....... hope you can make your aiya proud !

Stock Clearance Sale !!

Yesterday , 8th Feb 2009 , its Thaipusam at Penang. Its happens to be Penang is the most crowd gathered after KL's Batu Cave Thaipusam. As usual , went to the Tannirmalai Kovil at 5.30 am 1 day earlier , together with Vani's brother to pay our vowed ( milk & sandal ) and get back home around 10 am.

Plan to clear some of our inventory ( clothes ) by putting a stall at Thaipusam and the sales went pretty well. Able to convert some of the inventory into cash for our next trip to India ( business trip ) somewhere June this year for another round purchasing for Deepavali Sales 2009.

Set-up a stall , illegally ;) beside the Jalan Gottlieb around 6.30 am Thaipusam day and end the 1 day sales around 9.00 pm the same day. Able to generate Rm1200 in a single day !

End of the day , as a motivation and remuneration , the "company" rewards us by providing a good seafood at famous seafood shop at Gurney drive.

Hopefully next year we are able to put even a bigger stalls and make more money , wish us good luck !

Prady's 5th Birthday

Today is Prady's 5th year old birthday. She is very happy , with the gift her mother bought to her. A Dora pencil case , " her favorite cartoon character".

The plan is to cut her birthday cake with her kindergarden friends , since I have have my MBA semester exam and her mother have a tailoring class session. Order a 2kg cake , for a her classmates that's about 40 of future lawyers , doctors and who knows maybe a UMNO , MCA or MIC president :) .

Night, went to Bandar Perda Jusco , to have a prosperity burger " McDonald's " yearly Chinese new year edition. Her mother wants to have it and so do I , together we have a birthday dinner there.

Finally , she's happy with her birthday meals and not to forget the ice cream from McDonald's.

Family Trip to Port Dickson

Western Digital announce a 1 week plant shutdown due to business slow down , we take these opportunity to visit my brother at Port Dickson. Move to PD on Wednesday 24th 2008 , and stay there for 3 days. Everyone seems enjoy the trip particularly the mandi laut , " swimming at sea " , my daughter and son enjoy the trip as well.

Rising of the SAND man , not the character from Spiderman 3 , but my son Srinivasa buried until neck level at the PD sea side.

My wife seems enjoying the PD sea as well , actually she is not the adventure type , but this round she enjoyed it as well.

As for Srini aka "Sand Man" , happens to be the first experience swimming at sea , see how excited the boy is !!

My mother and my daughter , Prady seems a bit afraid getting into the sea. But I force her into the sea making her cry and of course she drink some of the sea water in the "process" of swimming he he he !!

The mandi laut seems end with a lot of exciting and happiness among us.

Night activity on the second day , were also a new experience for us and for our children's. The plan is to stay overnight at the sea side " camping ". But we move out from the place around 1.30 a.m because of the attack of flying sources , just kidding , because of mosquito. Some photos :-

Guess what we are cooking " steam boat " with a lots of lots of sea food and chicken , broccoli , squid , prawns , fish balls , fish cakes. You name it , and its taste fantastic. The cooking gadget , complementary from my brother , a army corporal and also an engineering drawing teacher at PD army school , and also a great cooker. Above photo , everyone enjoying the Satay Kajang , not from kajang but a shop franchised at PD. Not bad I think !!

What a great trip !! Once a while relax our mind from the daily boring factory work. Hope fully will have another trip somewhere on Chinese New Year , since there will be probably another plant shutdown ....till then bye bye.
